Typical Day
MORNING
TIE UP YOUR BOOTS - We start every morning with a reflection and group breakfast. After that, we’ll grab tools and head out for the morning work shift. We’ll visit a local family and build the filters.
siesta
TIME TO CHILL - After a traditional lunch, we’ll take some time to relax, explore the community, play with the local kids, or take a power nap on a hammock. Don’t get too comfy, there’s more work to be done.
AFTERNOON
BACK TO WORK - Distribute point-of-use filters to the homes of local families. Engage in an educational workshop and educate future generations about clean water. After the work is done for the day, we’ll take turns with bucket showers and have dinner together.
Night
STAR GAZING - Once the sun sets, we’ll hang out together playing games, watching the stars, and making new friends.
