Typical Day
MORNING
TIE UP YOUR BOOTS - We start every morning with a reflection and group breakfast. After that, we’ll grab tools and head out for the morning work shift. On a water project we’ll hike through the hills to dig trenches from the water source to the community.
siesta
TIME TO CHILL - After a traditional lunch, we’ll take some time to relax, explore the community, play with the local kids, or take a power nap on a hammock. Don’t get too comfy, there’s more work to be done.
AFTERNOON
BACK TO WORK - In the afternoon we’ll go back out to work on the construction of a water holding tank, carry pipe, or mix cement. After the work is done for the day, we’ll take turns with bucket showers and have dinner together.
Night
STAR GAZING - Once the sun sets, we’ll hang out together, playing games, watching the stars, and making new friends.
